Just yesterday, Sony announced that it would be delaying the release of The Last of Us Part II to give developer NaughtyDog more time to polish it up. While still unconfirmed, a recent report by Kotaku’s Jason Schreier has stated that Ghost of Tsushima guide|https://tsushimalegend.com/ of Tsushima has also suffered a delay because of Sony’s decision. With the PS5 seemingly coming out at the end of 2020, is there a chance that we could see Ghost of Tsushima land on Sony’s next-generation hardw

To figure that out, we only need to look to the recent past. When the PS4 launched in 2013 , Sony made a pretty big push to get original titles on it. This was mixed in with a helping of some cross-generation releases (such as Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Call of Duty: Ghosts ) that gave users a clear reason to ditch their PS3’s for Sony’s hot new box. Why spend $60 on a version of the game that looked and ran worse than its PS4 counterp

However, with backward compatibility said to be a guarantee, this might not be the case. For all intents and purposes, Sony could offer a patch for any PS4 game that makes it utilize unique PS5 features. Since Ghost of Tsushima may be launching mere weeks before the PS5, maybe a PS5 disc will simply be the PS4 version with any relevant patches applied. It would certainly make for a good excuse to release a «Game of the Year» edition and label it a PS5 exclus

That seems almost certainly impossible now, though, according to a statement from Kotaku ‘s Jason Schreier on Twitter . The industry veteran followed up a report that spotlighted the likelihood of The Last of Us 2 getting delayed until Spring 2020 by stating that, despite not having a release date yet, it would likely mean that Ghost of Tsushima gets delayed as well. According to him, Ghost of Tsushima was originally planned for the first half of 2020, but it likely won’t launch until the second half of the year now that The Last of Us 2 is being delayed until that spring. He also stated that it’s probably unlikely to expect the game to be changed into a PS5 tit

Following leaks earlier this month, Capcom has officially unveiled a remake of Resident Evil 3. It also comes with Project Resistance, now officially called Resident Evil Resistance . Resident Evil 3 will release for PS4 on April 3, 2

It’ll be interesting to see what path Sony takes, but for now, bets are on Ghost of Tsushima seeing some kind of PS5 support. Sony would be crazy to ignore the huge install base of PS4’s (currently sitting at 100 million+ consoles), but it also needs to have something big for when the PS5 rolls around. What better than Ghost of Tsushima , a game we still don’t know much ab

PlayStation fans knew to expect Ghost of Tsushima at Sony’s E3 2018 press conference, but those expectations didn’t make the trailer that Sucker Punch Productions showed any less impressive. The Washington-based developer showed fans that they’ve been hard at work during the past four years and that development is going well on the PlayStation 4 exclusive. The latest video starred the game’s protagonist Jin, who is the island of Tsushima’s » only hope against the ruthless Khan and his vicious empir

A magical battle royale game called Spellbreak was also shown off during State of Play. It seems to be very exhilarating, though it remains to be seen if Proletariat’s battle royale will be able to break into the crowded genre. We will be able to play Spellbreak’s Closed Beta in Spring 2

According to new information, Sucker Punch Productions’ Ghost of Tsushima could release as late as the second half of 2020, apparently in part due to the fact that The Last of Us 2 is getting delayed until spring of that year. Ghost of Tsushima is the one Sony PlayStation exclusive due out over the next year that fans don’t know much about after much of the spotlight has been taken by The Last of Us 2 and Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Rema

Last week, a trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3’s DLC was posted early , showcasing new playable characters and some Final Fantasy additions. The trailer was officially shown off during State of Play. Kingdom Hearts 3 Re Mind will come out on January 23, 2

One of the most shocking announcements in gaming news last year came in mid-November, when Sony dropped the bombshell that they would not be attending the following year’s E3 in any capacity. With no press conference or space-consuming booth on the floor, PS4 owners will have to continue waiting for updates on Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us Part II, Concrete Genie and the rest of Sony’s first-party lineup.

The gameplay in Ghost of Tsushima looks absolutely phenomenal, and it’s easily one of the most visually impressive games on PlayStation 4. Considering Sucker Punch’s work on InFAMOUS Second Son this feat isn’t particularly surprising, but it’s hard not to watch the nearly nine minutes of gameplay and not be impressed by the versatile action. The combat looks incredibly fluid, and while there’s been several ninja games shown off at E3 this year, none look quite as thrilling as what Sony has to of
