W: Spirit Cleave — Yone cleaves forward in a massive arc dealing a portion of the target’s maximum health. After successfully hitting an enemy Yone also gains a temporary shield. The shield’s power increases per champion str

To put it frankly, G2 may not have made the playoffs were it not for Caps’ MVP season. Even after six straight domestic titles, an MSI victory, and back to back World’s Finals appearances, Caps continues to find ways to impress. In a region famous for its mid laners, Caps stands above. He comes into the tournament with hopes for a third shot at the title and to finally prove the best player in the world does not have to come from the e

Yone’s most complex ability, though it is still relatively simple in practice. Yone splits his body into two, and players then control Yone’s Spirit Form. Players deal and receive damage normally, and any damage done while in Spirit Form will mark enemies. Once the ability ends, the player instantly blinks back to Yone’s body, and marked enemies will be dealt a portion of the damage they received from Yone’s Spirit Form. This ability allows players to stick to an enemy and finish off kills with little risk to them. While there is still the risk of dying while in Spirit Form, a player can push deep into enemy lines to secure a kill and still guarantee an escape back to where they began — just make sure Yone’s body is tucked away in a safe spot! This ability also looks fantastic with Yone’s Spirit Blossom skin , which he will receive on rele

Pantheon’s rework was a result of Riot cracking down on many champions that had global or semi-global ultimates. Veteran players will remember the halcyon (or hellish) days when Lux’s ultimate was nearly global, but Pantheon’s new ultimate feels weak at best and ultimately worthless at wo

In recent years, the distinct and thrilling Battle Royale genre has dominated the free-to-play market . This is due to studios releasing these elimination showdowns for free to support their growing community. It’s what keeps 100-man matches possible; a format necessary for Battle Royales to be playable. However, the free-to-play industry is also saturated with many other genres such as FPS, co-op, looter-shooter, open-world, and so much m

Updated on July 10, 2023, by Stephen LaGioia: As both segments of gaming have rapidly risen in popularity lately, it’s no surprise that various free-to-play Battle Royale titles have hit the gaming scene. Still, there are plenty of free gaming experiences that don’t demand one-and-done showdowns against a massive pool of online combatants. With many notable ones released recently (and at least one changing its payment model), it seemed time to revisit this list highlighting more of the best free non-BR games. It should be noted that while there may be a bit of overlap, and a few titles featured do (or have had) BR options — yet the core experience is non

His Q — Sonic Wave/Resonating Strike allows him to close the gap between him and enemies, as it can become both a projectile and a dash spell. Moreover, W — Safeguard/Iron Will enables him to get great sustain while jungling. E — Tempest/Cripple gives Lee Sin decent crowd control, which is perfect for defense. Meanwhile, Ult — Dragon’s Rage grants Lee Sin a great knockback ability — perfect to send enemies to his teamma

Thanks to League of Legends , Riot Games manages to offer a unique multiplayer online battle arena (moba Game tips) experience to the genre’s fanbase. After all, fans who want a change of pace from Dota 2 can go to League for new heroes, fresh mechanics, and equally-intense battles. As such, it’s no surprise how millions play the game online, with more newcomers arriving along the way. Moreover, its competitive esports scene motivates a lot of players to «go pro» and even start earning by joining competitions and showcasing their ski

League of Legends remains one of the most popular free-to-play games on the market today. But it also stands out as a robust esports competitor along with games like Overwatch and CS: GO . That means that, though the average player base may represent a greater population, developer Riot Games also makes game changes based on feedback from pro-players, sponsors, and commentators. Champion reworks are also a natural element of game maintenance. Since the game’s launch in 2009, many champions have seen reworks while other champions ( like Dr. Mundo and Shyvana) merely have rumored reworks in the wings. Past reworks, however, have not always sat well with f

Overall, Yone’s extreme amount of mobility and damage makes for yet another character destined to terrorize the Rift with katana(s) in hand. It also seems as though Yone will be more suited for newer players to pick up , as all of his abilities can forgive mistakes much more readily than his brother Yasuo’s. On top of that, he’s bound to be extremely adept at farming CS like his brother, giving new players yet another reason to pick up and try out Yone. Interestingly enough, Yone’s kit synergizes very well with Yasuo’s, as Yone can use his two knock-ups to enable Yasuo’s ultimate. While it remains to be seen which lane Yone will inevitably call home, and how players will ultimately prefer to build him, it’s already abundantly clear that players will be seeing Yone around the Rift for a long time to c
