«If at first you don’t succeed, try, and try again.» Those were the words of Gamers2 for those two years as the organization struggled, split after split. Despite his team’s poor performances, Ocelote was set on his vision of building a winning team, and was willing to take the necessary risks to do so. On June 2nd, 2015 , the young owner took a chance on sixteen-year-old Luka «PerkZ» Perković to be the team’s mid laner of the future, replacing Jérémy «Eika» Valdena
After the whole Dardoch situation, many were left wondering just who TSM would announce as their starting jungler. The fan favorites turned in-house, deciding to promote Academy jungler Mingyi «Spica» Lu. Spica made his LCS debut with TSM back in Summer 2019, where he notably stole baron against Flyquest in his first ever LCS game. He then stole baron again in his playoff debut later that season against Clutch Gam
Speaking on Johnsun’s development in his second ever LCS split, aphromoo explained how he’s helping facilitate the young bot laner’s development. «I’ve been in so many situations where I know what’s gonna happen. It’s like the same patterns over and over and when you have a new player come in, it’s just important to take it slow, and explain or showcase what should happen here and what we’re looking to do and just rinse and repeat that pattern over and ov
Despite not being used that much in top-level competitive play, in fact, he can be a bit of a meme pick in competitions, Garen is still a solid pick for most players in most low to mid and even some of the higher level E
In Evil Geniuses’ first split back in the LCS, they made waves by signing high profile players in reigning MVP Dennis «Svenskeren» Johnsen, former Team Vitality mid-laner Daniele «Jiizuke» di Mauro and Bae «Bang» Jun-sik, who won two World Championships back when he was a part of SKT T1 in 2015 and 2016. The team also added former Cloud9 youngsters Tristan «Zeyzal» Stidam and Colin «Kumo» Zhao. Despite looking inconstant at times, EG finished the split in 3rd place, losing to Flyquest in the semi-fin
Winning the Spring Split meant that G2 would be traveling to Shanghai for the 2016 Mid-Season Invitational. Going into the tournament, the public had high expectations for the European champions, but many doubted their chances of beating the legendary Faker and the rest of Korea’s SK Telecom
Just two weeks into the LCS, fans have been able to watch aphromoo play four different supports in four games. The veteran has so far played Leona, Lulu, Bard and Thresh. Despite Dignitas’ ugly 0-4 start to the split, aphromoo alongside his AD carry Johnsun «Johnsun» Nguyen have performed well in the bot l
Adding more about his mechanical skills, aphromoo said, «It’s important to have hands and God bless Johnsun, he’s got the hands. But other than that, he plays very well himself. I do think as a team-first, we all have to be on the same page and it’s a lot easier to see those patterns that happen in ga
This phenomenon might be what has to led to him being the most banned top lane champion in the game with an insane ban rate of 67 percent. However, he wouldn’t be banned so much if he wasn’t so viable in-g
As mentioned, all champions begin at level 1 at the start of each match. Leveling in a game can provide perks like more HP, MP, movement speed and defense. In order to level up. champions will need to defeat enemies or kill opponent champions. Also going to jungle camps and killing there is another way to gain levels. They will also drop gold that can be used to upgrade specific stats and unlock abilities. The max level players can reach in a single game is
TSM has now won six out of their last eight games, finding their way to 3rd place in the LCS Spring standings. Dardoch has been a major part of this surge, playing Lee Sin both games this past weekend against 100 Thieves and Evil Geniuses, winning both handily. One of the main jobs League of legends Tips a jungler is to secure neutral objectives, such as baron and dragon, as these give buffs that increase the stats of the players, helping them win fights. During week 5, TSM gave up 6 dragons, taking just 3 for themselves. This was done intentionally, however, as they decided to exchange early game dragons for objectives elsewhere on the map, such as map pressure and turrets. Early game dragons were weakened this past off season, and making these trade-offs helped TSM get early advantages. In doing so, this enabled Dardoch to secure baron buffs, an arguably more important late game objective. He managed to secure his team 100% of the barons taken this past weekend, which led to TSM winning both games. In terms of personal stats, Dardoch led junglers with a 14 KDA this week, dying just once. TSM will look to Dardoch to be a strength in the jungle, as they chase Flyquest in the standi
With the season just halfway through, it can be argued that all five Cloud9 members are worthy of winning the Spring Split MVP. Each of them are dominating in their own way, but perhaps none are more deserving than Zven. Playing excellent both mechanically and mentally, Zven along with his support Vulcan have dominated the bot lane this season, and week 5 was no different. Zven played an excellent Varus against CLG, who Cloud9 unsurprisingly beat. What was surprising, however, was Cloud9’s choice of bot lane in their second game against Immortals. Zven actually played «support» Senna, while Vulcan went Tahm Kench, acting as the «carry.» This is a strategy similar to what Dignitas Academy employed in their matchup against Golden Guardians Academy, where AD carry Fenix went Senna and support Olleh went Galio. Fenix «supported» Olleh as he farmed with Ga
