Red Dead Redemption 2 Leads 2019 GDC Award Nominations with God of War and Spider-Man Following Closely Behind

There doesn’t seem to be any special deal on Nintendo hardware taking place anywhere, which isn’t surprising. Nintendo is notoriously horrible about adequately stocking suppliers with consoles, and Switches almost always come at a premium. That said, there’s a pretty decent sale on the publisher’s eShop which is set to kick off on April 11th , so those who prefer to get their games digitally may want to wait until t

Pinkerton plays quite the pivotal role in RDR2 . Andrew Milton and Edgar Ross play Pinkerton agents sent to track down Dutch’s gang. Along the way, they do a bunch of villainous things, like killing several gang members in a brutal firefi

Prolific retailer Target will also be offering similar discounts, and their sales, much like GameStop’s, will also apply to certain gaming-related merchandise… but that’s mostly for those who haven’t had their fill of Fortnite Monopoly or Pickle Rick plushies. Hey, we’re not judg

While crunch may not completely dissipate, hopefully CD Projekt Red does stick to its word and end Cyberpunk 2077’s development with a period that’s light on stress like Marcin Iwiński is suggesting: «I think this is the commitment we’re ready to make today, and we’ll be listening to people. We definitely open a lot of lines of dialogue here, and we’d like to start with th

I’m sure to the surprise of few, Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 is leading the pack this year with the open-world sim earning 7 different category nominations. Following closely behind is a pair of Sony first-party titles in God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man each of which received 6 nominations each. All three of these aforementioned games are also nominated for the highly-coveted Game of the Year award, with Celeste and Return of the Obra Dinn rounding out the categ

Once again this year, Double Fine’s Tim Schafer has also been announced host the show. Additionally, former Naughty Dog director Amy Hennig is planned to be honored with GDC’s Lifetime Achievement award for her past work and contributions to the indus

According to The Verge , Take-Two responded to Pinkerton’s letter by counter-suing, arguing fair use and protection under the first amendment. As a huge part of America’s history (at one point, Pinkerton agents were even hired to protect President-elect Abraham Lincoln), the use of Pinkerton in RDR2 is simply part of the game’s historical sett

As for the crunch that will be retained, Iwiński told Kotaku «We’ve been communicating clearly to people that of course there are certain moments where we need to work harder—like I think the E3 demo is a pretty good example» and Badowski said «sometimes we have unique specialties, very unique people, and you cannot clone them. We need them to work on highly specific things. And we need to ask them to spend more time on something highly specific because there’s no other way to do

Additionally, prices for major games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be more than halved, so those with the «wait for a sale» approach to most game releases will want to jump on this opportunity. The corporation is also knocking $30 off of the Ultimate Edition of Red Dead Redemption 2 , which will still be fairly pricey for

Then there’s Fool’s Gold, which seems like a kind of King Of The Hill/Capture The Flag game. Competitors will fight each other to wear a suit of golden armor. The person wearing the suit will be hunted down. Whoever kills them obtains the new golden suit and a target on their back. There will also be three new Showdown Modes called Up In Smoke, Spoils Of War, and Plunder. Rockstar hasn’t released details about these modes yet, but it’s safe to assume that they’ll involve horses and murder in some capac

Sales over at GameStop will be underway from the 7th to the 20th (nice!) of April, and, though there’s nothing exactly door-busting like their holiday Xbox 360 giveaway, there are some fairly significant deals on consoles and recent AAA games. The most attention-grabbing deal here will probably be there $40 PlayStation Classic offer. Sure, that throwback system didn’t go over all that well when it dropped last December, but at less than half of the suggested retail price of $100, this might entice curious consumers to check out Sony’s first mini cons

Last December, roughly 2 months after the game’s release, Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations sent a cease and desist letter to Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company. In the letter, Pinkerton accused Take-Two of profiting off of their name and demanded undisclosed royalties for the company’s inclusion in Red Dead Redemption 2 Beginner Guide|Https://Reddeadwildland.Com/ Dead Redemption
