Když jsem před pěti lety zařizovala svůj prvních 32 metrů čtverečních, rozhodla jsem se pro rustikální interiér. Ne proto, že bych chtěla bydlet ve srubu. Potřebovala jsem, aby malý prostor působil útulně, a ne jako krabice od bot. Rustická estetika mi přišla jako ideální cesta. Omyl. Zjistila jsem, že dřevo a kámen samy o sobě nestačí. Zásadní je promyslet každý centimetr, protože v malém bytě není místo na zbytečnosti. Rustikální interiér totiž nemusí znamenat těžký nábytek a tmavé kouty. Naopak. Světlé dřevo, bílé stěny a jemné textilie dokážou místnost opticky rozšířit. Klíčem je rovnováha mezi surovostí a praktičností. A pokud se do toho pustíte chytře, rustikální interiér se stane vaším nejlepším spojencem.
