During Bethesda ’s livestream for Gamescom, the company’s PR vice president Pete Hines dropped a few statements regarding Starfield while talking to German community managers. According to his words, the development team is still not in the position to talk about the game — nor it is prepared to show anything Starfield -related. It probably requires a few more years of work to live up to the expectations, but Hines is already quite confident that the reveal — when it finally happens — will be an impressive one making the gaming community believe that the wait was totally worth it. In his famous manner of effectively saying nothing by telling a lot, Hines did not share a single detail on Starfield , but he’s at least transmitted his positive attitude towards the sci-fi

The announcements of Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6 generated a lot of excitement among fans, but the long silence has dampened things pretty considerably. Bethesda swears that Starfield will be worth the long wait , but before too long, it’s going to have to give fans something. This engine overhaul is worth getting excited about, to be sure, but it still pales in comparison to any actual, solid news on either Starfield or The Elder Scrolls

Even though there’s still plenty to learn about Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI , Bethesda has plenty of time to divulge that information. Hopefully, the coming months are years start to shed more light on each project and their potential arrival da

Hines continued by also talking about how even though Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI have been officially announced, that doesn’t mean they’re even close to being ready. «I try really hard to manage people’s expectations. It’s not like ‘ Fallout 76 this year, Starfield next year, and then TES6 the year after.’ The timeline isn’t any different. What’s different is just trying to be transparent and say, ‘Don’t freak out, the next thing we’re doing is single-player [in Starfield], [and] we are making TES

«We talked about [sci-fi] and then it really picked up steam when we registered the trademark about five years ago, and then we would talk about it from time to time, ‘What are we going to do?’ and then we started work right after Fallout 4 was finish

In a recent discussion with Gamespot at PAX Australia, Bethesda’s VP of Marketing Pete Hines spoke a bit more about both Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI and explained why they decided to announce both games so far in advance. Hines acknowledged that while it would have likely been better to continue going down this route of announcing games only shortly before they’re ready, he said that the aim with these two reveals was to be transparent to their f

«I don’t want to say yes or no to that because I don’t know what that means to you or whoever’s going to read that,» he said. «But it has a lot of new systems we’ve been thinking about for a while that fit that kind of game really well. We’ll talk about it in the futu

Described as a next-gen experience since its announcement, Starfield will undoubtedly skip the current console generation and utilize the power of PS5, Xbox Series X, and modern gaming PCs (however, no platforms have been revealed yet). Currently, there isn’t much known about the mysterious game’s potential release window, but Bethesda did confirm that Starfield would be its next single-player RPG , which means that the game will come before The Elder Scrolls VI . And much like the next Elder Scrolls entry, the upcoming space RPG is still largely an unknown quantity. It even lacks a dedicated page on Bethesda’s official website, which clearly indicates that there’s still little to nothing to be sh

Despite having Fallout 76 launch in less than a month and a ton of other games in the pipeline, perhaps the biggest moment for publisher Bethesda in all of 2018 was when it revealed both Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI at E3 , the next two titles that Bethesda Game Studios will be creating in the coming years. It was a drastic departure for Bethesda who instead tends to sit on their game announcements until they are closer to actually releas

Even though Bethesda Game Studios now has four offices scattered around the world, with a new location recently announced to be in Dallas , Hines also made clear that just because the development team has more staff than ever before doesn’t mean development will go by that much more quickly. In fact, when talking about The Elder Scrolls VI specifically, Hines said that it likely won’t be out until the next console generation has arrived. «I don’t even know what the world is going to be like when it comes out; there will be a different console generation by then, I’m sure,» Hines sta

A new report suggests Bethesda’s starfield exploration guide|https://starfieldgalaxy.com/ will be able to run on the current generation of game consoles. This seemingly conflicts with claims by Todd Howard — Director and Executive Producer of Starfield — that the design team behind the long-awaited game is devoted to » the next generation » of both gaming experiences and electronic hardw
